I fell in love with a song last night

It pleased me with craven wanting.

I fell in love with someone last week

But forgot to hold on and wandered off.

I danced all night and month

Wrote prolific letters in the dark.

I’m holding on fast and hard … still,

Loosing the stuff they say lines life.

I thought of you for minutes and hours today

Kept thinking you left me in my solitude

Until I woke up into you again.

I wanted to go to you tomorrow

Bring my heart and it’s gifts , but,

In the wee hours I fell back again.

Back into my me.
